Tungsten disulfide WS2 is a compound of tungsten and sulfide, black powder, insoluble in water and organic solvents, reacting with neither acid nor alkali besides the mixture of thick nitric acid and hydrofluoric acid.
Low friction coefficient (0.03), anti-pressure and anti-oxidation (in air decompose at 4500 C and completely at 6500 C; in vacuum decompose at 11000 C and completely at 20000 C). It can be used at high temperature, high pressure, high vacuum, high load, high rotating speed, ultra-low temperature, high radiation and corrosion conditions.
